Not only do we broadcast high school sports across the state and the nation, but around the world as well. I believe we are on the threshold of something big. Really big! And all I am asking is that you join us in this endeavor. We have a lot of people come up to us and say, “Thank you! Thank you for giving these kids the kind of exposure they deserve!” Most of our schools are located in the rural ‘heart’ of the Midwest, where ‘things get done by working class people… people who are proud… proud of their jobs, proud of their families, and especially proud of their kids.’ “We’re not big city,” they say, “so we don’t get the TV crews to come out and video us… heck, we hardly even get ours kids names in the papers… and here you are, out here at our schools doing just that.” Our site, since its inception in October of 2007, has jumped, in viewer ship alone, by 1500%! 1500%! What other medium can you say that about? We do more than simply broadcast a high school game. We help these gifted young people showcase their talents. If we were not out there doing it, then who would be? And the best thing is, the parents of these kids, the families of these kids, they remember who gave them this opportunity, and who stuck their money and their name out there so their kids could be seen and heard around the world… for colleges to hear, for families to hear, for the world to hear. As of late we have had a great many kids come up to us before the game and say, “I’m so glad you are here doing this, my dad/mom is in Iraq, or Afghanistan. They can’t be here to watch me play, but thanks to you, they can at least listen or watch me play. All the military bases have the Internet, and the soldiers serving have access to the net 24/7. It’s hard enough not being with your family, imagine being separated by thousands of miles and a war. What better way can we serve our men and women in uniform, then by bringing them their children’s games, their nephews games, their local hometown team games. You can be a part of all this by joining us. Help us help them by supporting us. Advertising dollars are never ill spent, unless no one ever sees or hears them. But we have grown by 1500%, obviously people are hearing us, obviously people are seeing us! We get emails everyday from fans, from the kids, thanking us for being there and doing their games. Little bitty towns, some, very few people have ever even heard of, much less, know about, now have that opportunity to promote their kids, their teams and their schools. And we are the ones bringing them this opportunity, with the help of our sponsors. And you know something, the parents, grandparents, and employees of these schools are consumers, consumers who realize when a business is reaching out and doing their part of being an active role in supporting local events… and they honor those businesses. We live in a town of 600; the last three years my daughter’s basketball team had the privilege to make it to the state playoffs. I want to remind you, our school is not rich, it is a public school, and if you have kids attending a public school, you know how tight the dollars can be, our local citizens work hard to make a living, to support their kids and their community, and here they were, faced with the prospect of getting their kids to Columbia Missouri, a 3 hour drive from where they live. That’s a lot to ask of a small town, to get their kids to the championship playoffs, hotel rooms for them to stay in, food, and transportation. You know what happened, the community came together, the businesses in the area came together and took care of those kids… they had an opportunity to ride in a nice chartered bus all the way to Columbia, stay in a nice hotel, and eat out while they were there. In other words, all those hours and days and weeks of hard work by those kids were being rewarded by us, their parents, their school, and their local businesses helping them get there and do their best. It’s a memory that none of us will ever forget. I’d like to say that they won state that year, but they came in 4th. The next 2 years, however, they took 2nd, and all three years the community, and businesses, was there for them. And Prepcasts was there as well, covering their games. I’ll never forget the businesses that made the sacrifice of helping those kids get there. I still support them every chance I get. Those businesses may not be the only ones offering their specific services, but I will always remember that they were there for the school, the team, and my daughter. What we do at Prepcasts Mo West takes money, travel fees, broadcast fee’s, the equipment, it all costs money. On the other hand, we also love what we do, and love to have the kids and their families come up to us before and after the games and thank us for being there, for their schools, their teams, their families, and we let them know each and every time, we may be the voice out there on the internet broadcasting these games, but none of it could be done without our sponsors… so thank them as well, shop their stores, do business with them, let them know how much you appreciate them for all they have done. After all, isn’t that what advertising is supposed to do, get your name out there, let people know who you are and what you offer, or do, or deliver! We can help you get this done. All we are asking is that you give us the chance.
